André Kirbach, born 1968 in North Rhine Westphalia. At ten, first steps with canvas and color, encountered with ancient art. At sixteen, youngest member of the municipal artists‘ association – participation in exhibitions in the region. Studied Dipl. Object Designer at the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein (formerly Werkkunstschule Krefeld) with professors Vogel, Kirchberger and Dohr – freelance associate, among others, in the advertising agency Gray. At twenty-three, tribal art was discovered as well as its influence on the art of the 20th century. Six-year collaboration in a Düsseldorf gallery – first concepts for dialogue between art from different cultures. Since 2000 self-employed, since then implementation of numerous projects and exhibitions around art. Found Zen at thirty-five, from then on intensive engagement with Japanese art and culture. Member of the Federal Association of German Galleries and Art Dealers. Since 2010 prominent exhibitor at the Cologne Fine Art, since 2015 member of the COFA trade fair advisory board. Since 2017 director of the Art Society in Aurich, East Frisia.
