Absolute Art Gallery was founded in Knokke (Belgium) by Yvan, Yoeri and Miguel De Backer in December 2000. In 2002, a second Absolute Art Gallery opened its doors in the city of Bruges and the gallery enlarged its roster of artists significantly with several internationally renowned contemporary artists. Very centrally located, the gallery has built up a wide international clientele. A third gallery, also located in Knokke, was opened in 2011. At this time the gallery stable consists of about 35 contemporary artists. Since December 2017 they are given an additional platform with a fourth gallery in the capital city of Brussels. Solo shows, group exhibitions and special events provide a fresh and ever changing environment at the four present gallery locations.
